Confetti Balloons - How come the confetti balloons aren’t clear?

When deflated, clear latex balloons are creamy coloured. If the balloon is still misty when inflated this means there isn’t enough air or helium in the balloon. When inflated to the correct size they will become transparent. For more information regarding confetti balloons visit our Getting the Most from Your Confetti Balloons blog post.

Confetti Balloons - How come the confetti isn’t sticking to the sides of the balloon?

When using confetti balloons, the confetti can pool at the bottom of the balloon which looks great but sometimes isn’t the effect some people want. This happens for a number of reasons relating to temperature, humidity etc. To make the confetti stick to the sides of the balloon you will need to create some static energy within the balloon by rubbing the balloon gently with an item of clothing or hair where the confetti is pooling. Continue this as you roll the balloon around a couple of times to disperse the confetti. If you are using helium to fill the balloons it can help to use with a mixture of air and helium. Add a couple of puffs of air before adding helium. For more information regarding confetti balloons visit our Getting the Most from Your Confetti Balloons blog post.

Can I fill the balloons with helium or air?

Both the latex and foil balloons can be inflated with either air or helium. Air-inflated, latex balloons remain inflated longer than those inflated with helium.

How do I get the most out of my helium balloons?

Refer to the table above for information on how much helium to use. Ensure you inflate balloons to the correct diameter otherwise they may not float. Inflate the balloons as close to the event time as possible. Helium balloons do not last as long as air-filled balloons. Please note that 5" balloons do not float for very long due to their very small capacity (approx 1 hour). Please be caution when using.

How can I dispose of your balloons responsibly?

Let's Party! is a proud member of the Pro Environmental Balloon Alliance (PEBA). PEBA is driving environmentally responsible change and is committed to reducing balloon litter and any potential effects on wildlife by eliminating the deliberate release of balloons. We want to help spread the word about the responsible enjoyment of balloons helping to prevent the negative environmental impacts associated with accidental or deliberate balloon releases.

Our latex balloons are made from natural rubber latex, which is 100% biodegradable. Latex breaks down under normal environmental conditions like other natural products. Where possible, please compost the balloons. We do not support balloon releases and we urge our customers to not let go of the balloons. When released into the air they will fall into our environment and become rubbish. Although the latex balloons will eventually decompose, until that time they will be litter.

Can you do custom balloon arrangements?

Yes we do! Send us a message with the details via our Contact Us page and we will let you know what we can do.
